We are looking for young adults in our community to drive change and ensure YWCA QC’s programming is meeting their unique needs.
The YWCA Quad Cities’ first Young Women’s Advisory Council meeting will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 5th at 5:00 pm at the YWCA Quad Cities Empowerment Center.
This group will advise YWCA QC in creating mission-centric programming that is adaptive and responsive to the needs of young adults in the Quad Cities area while raising awareness about YWCA QC’s current services available for young adults in our community.
Meetings will take place once a quarter, with the formation of small committees encouraged.
We are looking for young adults primarily women between the ages of 18 -25 to join our council.
