It was a truly special evening at our Empowerment Center.
For the first time, as proud new members of the National Diaper Bank Network and the Alliance for Period Supplies, we hosted a diaper distribution for families in need at our Empowerment Center in Davenport, Iowa. With the help of our incredible partners—Davenport Community Schools and River Bend Food Bank, we welcomed nearly 70 female-headed households to share a warm meal, shop our food pantry, and receive diapers, wipes, period supplies, and prenatal vitamins.
More than just meeting basic needs, the event offered families a chance to feel supported, connected, and cared for by their community.
