Your donation can change lives: help us provide a home for the holidays to those who need it most!
This fall we are embarking on a transformative project to address one of the most pressing issues in our community – youth homelessness. Alan’s House, our new YWCA Quad Cities Youth Homeless Shelter located at the former YWCA facility at 229 16th Street, will provide a safe and supportive environment for young people who have nowhere else to turn. With access to shelter, counseling, and education, youth will have the resources they need at Alan’s Place to build a brighter future.
Together, we can build a community where everyone will have a “Home for the Holidays” and the opportunity to thrive. Your generosity will have a lasting impact, giving hope to those who need it most.

At the YWCA Quad Cities, our mission to empower women, eliminate racism, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all continues to inspire every initiative we undertake.
Since opening in 2010, ThePlace2B has served over 1,500 youth with on-site services like hot meals, homework help, counseling, clothing, and medical, and dental needs. There are another estimated 200 unaccompanied homeless youth in the QC that we can serve through Alan’s House.
